عشق من فرزین
My Love Farzin
My love was a civil engineer, a humanist, artist, horticulturalist, and my best friend and lover. This website is intended to offer a glimpse into the life of this most remarkable man, who brought such joy, humor, knowledge, and sadness into my world. Farzin enriched the lives of so many with his life’s works, actions, and generosity that I believe it imperative that our memories of Farzin be more solid and accessible than the place in the mind where they eventually subside into solitary silence. Kindness ruled his nature and curiosity flamed his brilliance. This website is intended for those of you who loved and respected Farzin, colleagues who worked with him, those that had met him only briefly but were touched by his gentleness and graciousness, those that knew of Farzin through others and those who may want to become acquainted with him. It is intended to open a window into Farzin’s distinguished life and his search for a final release from the pain and despair of life.
Farzin’s Art
Let us be like
Two falling stars in the day sky.
Let no one know of our sublime beauty
As we hold hands with God
And burn
Into a sacred existence that defies –
That surpasses
Every description of ecstasy
And love.
